Creative Clay Happy Hour at American Stage Theatre

Tuesday, March 20, 2012
5:30–8 p.m.
American Stage
163 3rd Street North, Downtown St. Petersburg

Join Creative Clay at American Stage for happy hour with mingling, art and music. Creative Clay's member artists will be exhibiting a show inspired by the American Stage production of 2.5 Minute Ride by Lisa Kron and directed by Todd Olson.

Creative Clay member artists have painted their interpretations of the 2.5 Minute Ride program for the production, which will be showcased and available for purchase at the Tuesday, March 20 Happy Hour. The centerpiece of the exhibit will be the winning painted rendition of the 2.5 Minute Ride program for the production, signed by the cast and director and will be revealed at the production's opening night, Friday, March 16.  On opening night, American Stage patrons will begin the sealed bid for this piece. The bidding will continue throughout the Tuesday happy hour, and the winner will be announced at 8 p.m. Patrons need not be present to win. The centerpiece goes to the highest bidder. Proceeds benefit both organizations.

This Happy Hour is open to all interested patrons of the arts; no tickets necessary.  Proceeds from this event will benefit Creative Clay and American Stage Theatre Company. Both are proud recipients of the Bank of America Neighborhood Builders Grant, which has helped these organizations continue their missions of enriching the Tampa Bay Community through the arts.

AMERICAN STAGE THEATRE COMPANY is a not-for-profit professional theatre founded in 1977. The company's mission is to create the most satisfying live theatre in the Tampa Bay area, accessible to all members of the community.
