Emily is from Florida and joined the Community Arts Program in 2014. She quickly became an invaluable member of the Creative Clay community, with her enthusiasm toward her peers and dedication to her work. Emily’s smile and gentle laugh are infectious. She said, “Creative Clay is really cool!”
Emily’s chosen mediums are paint and colored pencils. All her work vibrates with color and motion. Her acrylic paintings are made in her signature technique of small curls that she then smears to give depth. Emily describes her artwork as “fun!” and said, “Inside, my art is exciting!” Emily’s paintings were shown in the exhibit, “Sweet Somethings,” at Strands of Sunshine in August 2017, and are in private and corporate collections, including the Penny Hoarder in St. Petersburg, FL. Her work can also be viewed at Creative Clay’s Good Folk Gallery.
