Darrion S.

Darrion S. was born in St. Petersburg.  He graduated from high school and currently attends Creative Clay as a member artist in the Community Arts Program. His goal is to complete his studies and become as independent as possible. Darrion loves looking at nature. He loves bright colors, and sees beauty in his mother’s garden, filled with different colors and textures. He is inspired by smiles, bright colors, animals, church and his mom, and is described by his family as “a daddy’s boy.”  He is becoming an usher at church. Darrion loves music and says, “Our household listens to all types of music. We laugh, love and dance together. Our food becomes art, the colors, the arrangement on the plate. When we shop, I see all types of colors, the different textures are so fun. My mom and I love to play "cloud pictures".” "Trust in God,” is his favorite quote.
