Janice Day
Janice Day joined Creative Clay as a member artist in April 2024. She also attended the Transition program at the end of her public education, and she is glad to be back. She says she loves being a member artist.
Janice’s favorite mediums are acrylic paint and clay pottery. She’s also enjoyed honing her skills with paper art, creating construction paper garlands for special celebrations.
Janice enjoys gallery hopping with other member artists, and she can also be counted on to help out if asked; she enjoys helping sort the bins in Creative Thrift, making sure that the thrift shop is organized.
In the future, Janice hopes to learn how to create jewelry. She thinks of herself as a “girly girl” who enjoys nail polish, lashes and all things sparkly. Her future goals include attending cosmetology school.
But for now, she wants to continue improving her artistic skills so she can sell her art. Eventually, she hopes to make enough money to open her own bank account, live on her own, and work as a cosmetologist and a professional artist!
