Christopher Joseph has been drawing since he was 5!
Christopher works on a piece of art for his mail art exchange with his ArtLink counterpart in Takamatsu Japan.
We asked Christopher a series of questions. What follows is our exchange.
When did you start working as an artist at Creative Clay?
Christopher: My first time in 2021.
What is your favorite visual arts medium?
Christopher: Drawings & Paintings.
How about your favorite type of performing arts?
Christopher: Japanese & Chinese martial arts acting (Ninja 3: Domination)
What goals do you have as an artist?
Christopher: Japanese Anime & Asian female characters that I made.
What has been your proudest moment as an artist?
Christopher: Pieces of any artwork. East Asia (Japan, China & Korea).
Christopher proudly shows off his artistic style and skill along with some of his favorite subject matter.
Is there an exhibit that you participated in that you were especially proud of?
Christopher: My painting of Hand Fan Dance with Hand Drum at Academy of Senior Professionals at Eckerd College
Who or what inspires you?
Christopher: My beautiful mother has always inspired me and pushed me to get my art out there. She always had faith in me and loved every picture I drew since I was 5 years old. She’ll love and hope for and I know she is smiling down on me. My progress. R.I.P Melaniz Katrice Joseph I’m getting closer mother.
What is your favorite piece of art you’ve created?
Christopher: My favorite I created is Asia culture arts & paint of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Is there anything you want people to know about you or your dreams for the future?
Christopher: My future is me making more money for any paints and custom draw of any Japanese Anime styles.
