Hal Freedman
Hal Freedman has served on the Creative Clay board since 2014. Hal received a BA and MBA in Economics and Marketing from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Columbia College.
Hal is originally from Manhattan and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2000 with his partner, Willi Rudowsky. Hal has had careers in real estate, technology, and garment manufacturing. He founded Preserve Our Wallets and Waterfront (POWW), a group formed to oppose building a new downtown Rays stadium. Hal and Willi are active members of the St. Petersburg community, serving on several boards.
Hal and Willi Rudowsky have been Creative Clay supporters for over 15 years. They are Legacy and Good Folk Society members and have contributed consistently with yearly sponsorships and donations for special projects. They contributed to our 2016 build-out campaign, are title sponsors for Creative Clay’s Performing Arts Studio, helped to fund our outdoor classroom project, as well as contributing to send art kits to all of our member artists during our Covid in-person shut-down. Thank you so much for appreciating the work we do. You have been there with us for half of our existence and that says a lot about your dedication to Equality Through Art.
