Coral Walden, Director of Community Arts Program

Originally from Glenwood Springs, Col., Coral moved to Saint Petersburg in 2015. She attended Eckerd College, where she majored in Human Development and minored in Studio Art.

When choosing a site for her Human Development internship, Coral remembered touring Creative Clay through her Experiencing the Arts class and was selected to be an intern. After a highly productive internship, Coral joined Creative Clay as a teaching artist since fall 2019.

Coral also taught our 2021 "Around the World Summer Camp." In November 2021, she became Studio Manager. In July of 2026, Coral was promoted to the role of Director of Community Arts Program.

Coral is primarily a 2D artist who favors drawing, painting, and collage. Her work is often inspired by myth, spirituality, and nature.
